Jan 2010 PhD ScholarshipsFrom HIT Lab AustraliaIn early 2010 the HITLab was undergoing a new phase of development with the appointment of Aaron Quigley as our inaugural director. As part of this, the lab advertised 6 fully funded PhD scholarships worth $30,000 per year tax-free. We were (and are) looking for exceptionally well-qualified, motivated candidates who want to be part of the first phase of our development into a leading international research laboratory in interface technology research.

As described in more detail across this site, the HIT Lab Australia (HIT Lab AU) is a specialist human interface technology teaching and research centre developed by the University of Tasmania within the School of Computing and Information Systems. It partners with the world-renowned HIT Lab US (http://www.hitl.washington.edu) based at the University of Washington in Seattle and has links with the HIT Lab NZ (http://www.hitlabnz.org) based at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
