In early 2010 the HITLab was undergoing a new phase of development with the appointment of Aaron Quigley as our inaugural director. As part of this, the lab advertised 6 fully funded PhD scholarships worth $30,000 per year tax-free.

We were (and are) looking for exceptionally well-qualified, motivated candidates who want to be part of the first phase of our development into a leading international research laboratory in interface technology research.

It is important that applicants carefully review the project they would like to apply for from the links above.

Emailed applications should contain the following (as PDF or Text - only)

  1. Title of the PhD project for which they are applying in the Subject Line eg. Hybrid AR Tracking
  2. A Personal Statement outlining the research project that they are interested in and why
  3. A detailed CV or resume (clearly indicating research experience and grades)
  4. The names and email addresses for two referees (PDF references can also be included to speed up the application process)

The deadline for applications is Mar 17, 2010.
