Activities: Kid wrangling! Volunteer work at our kids’ local Primary School (Board Member, Parent Help, etc).
Likes: Photography. Reading a good book. Being totally immersed in a project. Travelling overseas with the family.
Dislikes: People who talk but don’t really listen to what others have to say.

What are your plans after study?
I’ll wait and see where the journey takes me.

What do you find most exciting about Human Interface Technology (HIT)?
The limitless possibilities of this cutting edge technology, especially the ability to engage students with their learning. I really love the creativity and use of imagination involved. It is a real paradigm shift in the way we view the world.

I recently read a quote by Albert Einstein, which to me epitomises the technology.

“To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science.”

Any Advice for Prospective HIT Students?
Give it a try. It doesn’t matter how old you are or what course you are studying, HIT technology can find applications in almost any field.
