Professor Young Choi is Interim Director of the Human Interface Technology Laboratory (HIT Lab) Australia, which is linked to the world-renowned HIT Lab US at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. Young was previously Head of School of Computing at UTAS for nearly twenty years. Before coming to Tasmania he was Head of Computer Science and Deputy Dean, Faculty of Mathematical Sciences at Flinders University, Adelaide. He is recognised internationally for his work in international education, especially in China and Korea, including Chair of the Academic Advisory Committee; International Education Network, China; Asia Pacific Digital Multimedia Education Network member; and the ACHEM Computing Curriculum Board, Malaysia.
